Description
Sachet packaging machine SPM-W is designed for automatic filling of dry granular products, such as coffee, creamer, tea, sugar, salt, spices, milk powder, instant drink powder, and other similar products in 3 or 4-side seal sachets.
The sachet packaging machine is a fully automatic unit and requires minimum operator skills for setting operation parameters, installing film rolls, loading a product inside the product hopper.
Working principle
The product is filled through the throat of the product hopper onto a vibrating chute, which vibrates with a predetermined amplitude and feeds the product into the weighing bucket. The bucket is connected to the filler with a strain gauge. After reaching the set weight parameters, the load cell sends a signal to the filler control unit, which stops the vibrating chute.
After filling the package at a set volume, the machine controller sends a signal to the stepper motor to start the drive of the conveyor belt, which leads to the start of a new product filling cycle. The product is filled inside the formed sachet through tubes at a set volume.
The seam sealing unit works on the principle of constant heating. When moving downwards, the jaws remain in a closed position, which allows the packaging material to be pulled. The roll is unwinded and the packaging material is folded through the forming triangle into a sleeve around the guide frame.
Once the filled sachet reaches the bottom point of the machine, it is cut by a special knife. The cutting unit can be equipped with a flat or toothed blade. The final package (sachet) falls to the floor, into a special container (box), or onto an outfeed conveyor.
