Description
Pouch filling machine APM-S is designed for automatic filling of granular & powder products, such as cereals, snacks, nuts, pulses, grains, spices, coffee, tea, milk powder, and other similar products in 3-side seal pouches.
The pouch filling machine is a fully automatic unit and requires minimum operator skills for setting operation parameters, adjusting the dosing weight, installing film rolls, loading a product inside the product hopper.
Possible pouch types

Pillow pouch

Gusseted pouch

Flat bottom pouch

Quad seal pouch
Working principle*
The product is filled through the throat of the product hopper onto a vibrating chute, which vibrates with a predetermined amplitude and feeds the product into the weighing bucket. The bucket is connected to the filler with a strain gauge. After reaching the set weight parameters, the load cell sends a signal to the filler control unit, which stops the vibrating chute.
The filler controller signals the weighing bucket to open. The bucket opens, feeding the product through the hose. The product is filled into a formed film sleeve with a sealed vertical & horizontal seams. At this time, the controller turns on the vibrating chute to fill the weighing bucket with the next dose of the product.
The operation of the packaging machine is controlled by a microcontroller, which activates the film pulling mechanism after unloading the weighing bucket (dispensing a dose of product). During the pulling, the roll is unwound and the film is rolled up through the collar into a sleeve around the tube. The film pulling length is controlled by a photo tag sensor or a set value. The microcontroller enables the sealing unit.
The seam sealing unit works on the principle of constant heating. During the sealing process, filled pouches are also separated by a mechanical knife. The final package (pouch) falls to the floor, into a special container (box), or onto an outfeed conveyor.
