Description
Double-lane paper bag packaging machine APB-125 is designed for automatic filling of powder products, such as flour, corn starch, baking soda, and other similar products in premade paper bags.
The paper bags filling machine is a fully automatic unit and requires minimum operator skills for setting operation parameters, adjusting the dosing weight, installing film rolls, and loading a product inside the product hopper. The machine is able to work with two paper bag sizes.
Working principle
The operator places unfolded premade paper bags into a special feeding magazine (2 lanes). The machine takes boxes one by one and places them on a conveyor. On the next station, the machine forms paper bags to the final rectangular shape and moves bags to the next station.
The product is filled with the help of a double-lane auger filler (servo-driven). The filler controller signals the auger to start screw rotation and the product is filled into a formed paper bag.
Filled bags are then moved to the hot melt glue application system which sprays a set amount of glue to the top closure panel of the bag. Once the glue is applied, the bag is securely closed with the help of special mechanical levers.
The final package (filled paper bag) is moved to the outfeed section.
Main machine operations
- Feeding paper bags from the magazine, opening & placing bags on the machine conveyor
- Automatic dosing of product inside bags with the help of servo-driven auger filler
- Shaking the product inside bags with an aspiration system
- Folding the top of the bags
- Cutting off the excess part of the paper bag
- The first wrapping of the top of the bag (folds up the top edge of the bag by 180 degrees)
- Applying glue with a hot melt glue system
- The second wrapping of the top of the bag and gluing the wrapped part to the bag
- Outfeeding final package (filled paper bag) to the outfeed section, outfeed conveyor, or onto a rotary collection table
- Expiry date coding (optional)
