Description
The horizontal ribbon mixer is designed for uniform, fast, high-quality mixing of granular or powder products as well as multi-component mixes. The homogeneity level of the horizontal ribbon mixer is 98-99%.
A rotary-drum mixer is intended for careful mixing of product with adding of liquid and/or dry additives onto the surface of nuts or other products. The mixing drum is equipped with special paddles to prevent messing up the product during the mixing process. All product contact parts are made of food-grade stainless steel.
Working principle
The mixing of the components occurs due to the opposite multidirectional movement of the flows (four multidirectional flows). In addition, reverse rotation of the ribbon stirrer is available in the standard scope of supply. All these provide a high-quality uniform mixing in a short time.
The mixer is equipped with a programmable logic controller, which sets the cycle of rotation of the ribbon stirrer and total mixing time. If necessary, a high-speed impeller can be started manually from the mixer control panel to break up large lumps inside the mixed product.
The mixer can be optionally equipped with a special injection system for spraying various liquid components, such as oil, dyes, flavors, concentrates. The spraying volume can be smoothly adjusted.
